When I met Yoga when Yinyoga met me
I remember my contact with yoga for the first time. What an experience, so new but so familiar at the same time. Remember the feeling that spread throughout my body afterwards. How the calm took place in my mind and body, how the calm warming presence embraced me and I felt like a child again. Peacefull , open, happy and full of life. How the food tasted so intense around the taste buds, how all the impressions were enhanced when I cycled home on the bike on a late summer night after and how I became aware of all my thoughts and feelings. That time is now more than 20 years back when I was very energetic and practiced more dynamic yoga forms. The body was full of vigor, energy and strength. And then the years passed, life became easier and more beautiful. About five years ago, I happened to end up on a Yinyoga class at a Yoga festival and that meeting changed my attitude completely for the meaning of yoga. The experience brought me to a deeper level, deeper contact with myself, also understood the meaning of connective tissue and fascia. The feeling of being able to relax and let go all the way into the smallest muscle of the whole body, mind and existence. I'm thrown by a complete calm into my smallest cell. The feeling of being free, without worrys, stress and a lot of unnecessary thoughts. And then I realized that it's essential in the yoga to find the serenity of body, mind and breathing. Yinyoga is the perfect tool for this and which can be practiced by anyone in a simple and safe manner. After my first Yinyoga class, I decided to become a Yinyoga teacher so that I could spread the magic of Yin's powers
